Rules and Regulations

Guidelines for Students –

  • All the students must be clean and tidy in their proper dress and manners. Parents are requested to send their ward/wards to school neatly dressed without which they will be refused admission to the class.
  • It is the duty of all the students to keep their class rooms and other places in and around the school, clean and in order.
  • No student is allowed to write their names or leave any indelible marks on their desks and chairs. Before leaving the class room students will pick up waste paper and any unwanted material from the floor.
  • Students are not allowed to write on black boards unless asked to do so by the teacher.
  • Students should observe silence in the verandas, corridors and the stairs during the class hours.
  • Punctuality and regular attendance, earnest in home assignments and good behaviour in and outside the schools are always insisted on; and in all these matters parents full co-operation is expected at all times.
  • The principal may request the parents to withdraw those children who do not follow the rules and regulations of the school or are not capable of any improvement.
  • Students should wear identity card with the school uniform for their safety and security.
  • In order to enable the students to acquire sound principles of conduct, action and lay a solid foundation for a purposeful life, school organizes various activities which are mostly based on the syllabus of the class. Parents must encourage their wards participation in all these activities.
  • Students should excel in good manners. They should show respect to their parents, elders, school authorities and teaching staff. They should be gentle and polite.
  • A students should not leave his/her class room without the permission and also he/she is not allowed enter any classroom other than his/her own.
  • English being the medium of instruction in the school, students are expected to speak only in English in the class and in the school premises.
  • Every student must bring Tiffin with him/her. No lunch packets or any other articles should be reached to the students during class hours.
  • Parents/Students are forbidden to give gifts to the teachers on any occasions. No student is allowed to bring any gifts or costly things to distribute to his/her classmates on his/her Birthday. Only sweets are allowed.
  • Students from nursery to 5th standard are allowed wear colour dress on their birthdays. Students from class 6th onwards are to be in their school uniform always.
  • The school does not hold itself responsible for injuries sustained by students while in the school.
  • However, first aid will be rendered immediately and injuries necessitating Hospital/OPD treatment will be attended to, without delay.
  • Children should do their home-work regularly.
  • Students are strictly forbidden to bring any electronic gadgets (mobile Phones, Laptops, Tablets, Cameras etc. and its accessories) and other valuables to the school. If found disobeying, action will be taken against those students. And recovered gadgets will not be given back for any reason.
  • Every Student take care of his /her personal belongings. School authorities do not assume the responsibility for loss of such belongings. Name of the students/admission no. class should be marked of the personal belongings to facilitate recovery when lost in the school premises.
  • Students found processing any reading, viewing or other materials of indecent and objectionable nature will be dismissed without any notice.
  • The school reserves the right to dismiss the student whose diligence or progress in studies in unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students or whose guardians show little interest in the progress of their wards. Habitual illness/actions detrimental to the discipline and the moral of the school/grave in subordination and contempt of authority or willful damage to property/ non-payment of fee is always sufficient reason for immediate dismissal.
  • Immediate suspension or even dismissal will follow if the student is found damaging the physical and moral well being of other students and of the school, or unfair practice at examination.
  • The interpretation of any rule in this as well as any amendment to it rests solely and entirely with the governing body of the school. Their interpretation shall be final and binding on parents and students.
  • Pupils with unkempt hair would be prevented from attending school.
  • All students should wear vests (inner). They are not allowed to wear coloured vest.
  • Girls are not allowed to wear fancy ear rings, bangles, finger rings and growing of nails & using of nail polish.
  • School uniform forbids the use of jewellery, henna/mehandi, streaking of hair, makeup, tattoos etc.
  • No student shall indulge in any of the following practices namely
  • Disfiguring or damaging any school property.
  • Use of drugs or intoxicants
  • Bullying and rude behaviour
  • Use of violence in any forms
  • Use of bad language or hurting the modesty of others
  • Playing truant during class hours.
  • Fines which may be deemed necessary to be imposed on the students are only to improve or to enforce discipline.
  • A student involved in any incident, even outside the school which brings discredit to the institution either because of unpleasant nature or inviting criminal or legal action by police or by the court will be dismissed from the school without further enquiry.
  • A student involved in any attempt of defaming the management, teachers and fellow students using social networking sites like face book will be dismissed immediately and liable to legal actions under cyber crime and IT act 2000.
