- Assessment is a day to day which a teacher undertakes to know and discover the qualities, talents, abilities and short coming of the students. The teacher uses various ways and methods to know and study the students mental, physical, social, emotional, and aesthetic and the spiritual developments. The teacher is in constant touch with the students to help them in their all-round development.
- To assess the progress of each student in the various subjects and to facilitate an intense study of all the subjects, the performance of the students will be tested in four assessments apart from the class tests.
- All promotions are decided by the principal in consultation with the teacher at the end of the academic year.
- Promotion is granted on the basis of the marks obtained in the external assessment as well as the internal assessment, during the whole year.
- To be promoted to the next class, a student should obtain minimum 40 percent in internal assessment, 40 percent (in each subject) in external assessment and 80 percent of attendance.
- Special arrangements for assessments/examinations cannot be made for the pupils who, for any reason, are absent from any of the tests or examinations. Absence/leave in assessment/examination will be treated as having received no marks in it.
- Each teacher will assess the students for the following in the internal assessment.

- The syllabus for 4th external assessment will include all other 3 assessment syllabus.
- Deliberate breach of the rules and regulations, while conducting the examinations hall is punishable with expulsion from the examination hall, or if discovered subsequently, cancellation of the entire examination.
- Result declared by the principal is the final and will not be reconsidered.
- Parents/Guardians should be personally come to collect progress report card issued after the each assessment and return the same to the class teacher immediately with the signature. Class assessments must also be signed by the parents when directed by the teachers. As a general rule no answer sheets will be shown to parents.
