Leave and Absence
Students should attend the school regularly and must be punctual for classes and participate in all the activities. They must reach the school at least ten minutes before the assembly.
The school gates will be closed at 7. 25 am.in summer and 7.55 a.m. in winter. Late comers will not be admitted to the class.
Leave applications from parents are to be submitted on an A-4 size sheet according to the sample format given in this diary. Every absence must be entered in the leave record pages of the school diary and signed by the parents.
Re-tests are not taken for the students who absent themselves for test/examination.
Every student is expected to have a minimum of 80%attendance during the academic year, failing to which he/she may not be permitted to be promoted to the next class.
Students will not be allowed to leave the school before the class gets over (no half day leave) except in case of an emergency for which parents/guardians have to give a written request to Principal.
Absence for more than three days at the beginning of a term or immediately after the vacation without prior notice rendered a student is liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls.
All are expected to attend the classes on the opening day after the vacation and last working day before the vacations
Students who are absent themselves deliberately (without sufficient reason) will be rusticated without any notice. For absence of more than three days on medical grounds, medical certificate should be attached along with leave application and submitted to the class teacher.
