Expectations From Parents

  • Parents are expected to co-operate with the Manager, Principal and staff to ensure effective functioning of the school and the wellbeing of their ward(s).
  • Parents are co-educators of the child, so it is essential that they mold the character of their ward(s) and instill discipline and moral values in them.
  • In the interests of child's future, it is very essential for him/her to imbibe self-discipline. The teachers will take adequate corrective measures to ensure the general discipline of the class under her/his care. The teachers' efforts will bear fruit only with adequate positive inputs from the parents.
  • Parents must sign on the page after taking note of the remarks written by the teacher in the diary as well as the answer papers and guide the child accordingly without undue pressure. Parents are requested to ensure that their remarks in the diary are duly attended by the teachers. If not, they are requested bring it to the notice of the principal.
  • Our School strongly discourages private tuitions. The teaching program in the school is good enough for the students to perform well, provided they are attentive in the class and realise their responsibilities. The habit of self-study and regularity in reading must be encouraged at home.
  • Parents are requested to see that certain amount of regular English conversation takes place at home.
  • Parents are not permitted to interact with the teachers or students during the school hours. In case of any urgent need, the principal must be contacted.
  • No entry for parents and visitors beyond the School Reception Area. Parents are strictly forbidden to go to any class or to the teaching areas without the permission of the school authorities.
    • Parents should keep in mind that as co-educators of the child, it is very essential to observe the dress code when they come to the school premises. Pedal- pushers, Bermuda shorts or any tight-fitting clothing could be a source of distraction or deviation from the normal dress code.
    • Parents who visit the school, during school hours are to inform the purpose of their visit at the reception/counter so that they can be attended to. They should not proceed to the classes and disturb anyone during the teaching hours.
    • Criticism of teachers or school in front of the ward(s)/other parents should be strictly avoided as it causes the student to lose respect for the teachers and their school. If any parent humiliates or insults a teacher, school reserves the right to ask that parents to withdraw the ward forthwith or at the end of the academic year. If there are genuine complaints pertaining to a teacher, parents should register a written complaint against the teacher. According to the nature of the complaint suitable action will be taken.
    • Parents should avoid using the school as a meeting place for airing grievance communication of problems in writing to the school authorities, will be appreciated. Parents who intentionally organize others to revolt against the management or invite the media into the campus in order to defame the institution, will be asked to withdraw their ward(s) from the school immediately.
    • Kindly, ensure that your ward is regular in studies and allied assignments.
    • Healthy and nutritious food should be packed for tiffin along with a napkin and water bottle.
    • In case you need, any help from School/Principal, regarding well-being of your ward please, do not hesitate to communicate.
    • Parents are called to the school by the concerned teacher if your ward is found irregular in completing the home assignments or any other kind of irregularities. Parents need to take these calls very seriously and attend to.
    • Whenever change occurs in your residence/office address, contact numbers or in your ward’s mode of transport it should be communicated in writing to the office immediately.
    • Parents are requested to see that if their ward brings home anything from the school without the teachers’ knowledge, and if so, send it back on the next day and inform the teacher. It will have its own reward in the child's future life.
    • Electronic/Digital, smart watches and mobiles are not allowed in school and any unauthorized use of such devices will lead to confiscation of the same.
    • Parents must ensure that students do not move out in school uniform in public places and social gatherings after school hours.
    • Parents must ensure that students are in proper school uniform at public places, tours, trips, events etc. organized and planned by school authorities.
