Expectations From Students

  • All the students must be clean and tidy in their proper dress and manners. Parents are requested to send their ward/wards to school neatly dressed without which they will not be allowed to attend their class.
  • It is the duty of all the students to keep their class rooms and other places in and around the school, clean and in order.
  • No student is allowed to write their names or leave any indelible marks on furniture. Before leaving the class, room students will pick up any waste paper and unwanted material from the floor and drop in the dustbins provided.
  • Students are not allowed to write on chalk boards unless asked to do so by the teacher.
  • Running and shouting inside the school building is forbidden and unbecoming. The students must always greet their teachers, elders and friends in a pleasant and low tone of voice wherever they meet them in the school or outside.
  • During the recess students are expected to leave the class rooms and go to playground. Take care to switch off the lights and fans. No student may leave his/her class in between the teaching periods.
  • Honesty and regular attendance, earnest in home assignments and good behaviors in and outside the school are always insisted on; and in all these matters parents' full co-operation is expected at all times.
  • Principal may request the parents to withdraw those children who do not follow the rules and regulations of the school or if parents themselves do not co-operate with the school authorities.
  • Students should wear identity card with the school uniform for their safety and security.
  • In order to enable the students to acquire sound principles of conduct, action and lay a solid foundation for a purposeful life, school organizes various activities which are mostly based on the syllabus of the class. Parents must encourage their ward’s participation in all these activities.
  • Students should excel in good manners. They should show respect to their parents, elders, school authorities and teaching staff. They should be gentle and polite.
  • A Student should not leave his/her class room without the permission and also, he/she is not allowed to enter any classroom other than his/her own.
  • English being the medium of instruction in the school, students are expected to speak only in English in the class and in the school premises.
  • Every student must bring tiffin with him/her. No lunch packets or any other articles should be reached to the students by the parents during the class hours.
  • Parents/Students are forbidden to give gifts to the teachers on any occasions. No student is allowed to bring any gifts or costly item to distribute to his/her classmates on his/her Birthday. Only sweets are allowed.
  • No collection for any purpose whatsoever may be made in the school without the permission of the principal.
  • Students are not allowed to celebrate their birthday in school with cakes, soft drinks, pastries and other expensive items. Party dresses are not permitted from class VI onwards. Fast food and soft drinks are strictly not allowed in the school.
  • Students are forbidden to bring crackers, explosives, harmful instruments and other dangerous material to school.
  • The school does not hold itself responsible for injuries sustained by students while in the school. However, first aid will be rendered immediately and injuries necessitating Hospital/OPD treatment will be attended to, without delay.
  • Every Student should take care of the school property, intentional damage to school property is a serious breach of school’s discipline and shall be borne by the defaulting students.
  • Children should do their home-work regularly.
  • Students are strictly forbidden to bring fancy key chains, wrist bands playing cards, any electronic gadgets (Mobile phones, Laptops, tablets, cameras smart watches etc. and its accessories) and other valuables to the school. If found disobeying, strict action will be taken against those students. And recovered gadgets will not be given back for any reason.
  • Every student should take care of his/her personal belongings. School authorities will not take any responsibility for loss of such belongings. Name of the students/ admission no. class should be marked on the personal belongings to facilitate recovery when lost in the school premises.
  • Students found possessing any reading, viewing or other material of indecent and objectionable nature will be dismissed without any notice.
  • The school reserves the right to dismiss the student whose diligence or progress in studies is unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students or whose guardians show little interest in the progress of their wards. Habitual illness/ actions detrimental to the discipline and the moral of the school/ grave insubordination and contempt of authority or willful damage to property/ nonpayment of fee is always sufficient reason for immediate dismissal.
  • Immediate suspension or even dismissal will follow if the student is found damaging the physical and moral well-being of other students and of the school, or unfair practice at examination.
  • The interpretation of any rule in this as well as any amendment to it rests solely and entirely with the governing body of the school. Their interpretation shall be final and binding on parents and students.
  • Pupils with unkempt hair would be prevented from attending school.
  • Boys are not allowed to wear colored vest.
  • Girls are not allowed to wear fancy ear rings, bangles finger rings and growing of nails & using of nail polish is forbidden.
  • School uniform forbids the use of JewelleryADMISSION & WITHDRAWAL
  • , henna/ mehndi, streaking of hair, make up, tattoos etc.
  • No student shall indulge in any of the following practices namely
    • Disfiguring or damaging any school property
    • Use of drugs or intoxicants
    • Bullying and rude behaviour
    • Use of violence in any forms
    • Use of bad language or hurting the modesty of others
    • Playing truant during class hours
  • Fines which may be deemed necessary to be imposed on the students are only to improve or to enforce discipline.
  • A student involved in any incident, even outside the school which brings discredit to the institution either because of unpleasant nature or inviting criminal or legal action by police or by the court will be dismissed from the school without further enquiry.
  • A student involved in any attempt of defaming the management, teachers and fellow students using social networking sites like face book, Instagram will be dismissed immediately and liable to legal actions under cybercrime and IT Act 2000/8
