Description: As we all know that today we are celebrating birthday of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru who was the first Prime Minister of India. We all know that Pandit Jawaharlal Lal Nehru was also known as Chacha Nehru because he loved children very much, so this day is also celebrated as Children’s Day.
St. Francis School, Samlong, Ranchi celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November, 2017. Children were excited for the day. The programme was started with small prayer service by teachers gave their efforts for wonderful song which was sung during the prayer service. The Principal, Manager, Coordinator, Head Boy & Head Girl were called Lighting the Lamp, & putting the Garland on photo of Pandit Jawaharlal Lal Nehru. Sweets, Pen, Pencil were distributed to the children as a Children’s Day Gift.
